Fun Christmas Cards

I started working on my Christmas cards last week, but I still haven't made much progress despite spending most of the weekend at a crop!  Here is what I've got so far...

I used a 9 X 6.5 piece of white cardstock and folded it in half to make a 4.5 X 6.5 card.  I cut a 4.5 X 6.6 piece of green cardstock and glued it to the front of the card.  I cut a 4 X 6 piece of patterned paper and glued it to the top of the green paper.  I used the Wild Card Cricut cartridge for the little envelope and liners.  I cut out various designs (from the same paper pad I previously used for the top of the card) to be used as cute little inserts for the envelopes.  I attached the ribbons with a glue dot and then glued a piece of either red or green cardstock to the back of the insert.  The buttons are attached with 2 glue dots.

I think I will use a stamp for the inside sentiment.  Then I can make the envelopes and get them in the mail.  I guess I better get busy if I want everyone to receive their cards before Christmas!
